Towards the end of 2008, You and I, along with billions of others around the world were fed a constant stream of news about the economy, business collapses, bankruptcies and terror attacks!
Put this with all the bad news about the environment and global warming, and it can be quite depressing!

Life can be hard enough, without being bombarded by bad news!
So I got to thinking, why can’t we find some good news, and publish that instead? I don’t mean that we should live in a state of ignorance and put our head in the sand, that doesn’t work!
What I am talking about is highlighting news about countries, businesses, community organizations and individuals doing something to make their part of the world a better place to live in!
An Example of What I Mean:
A little while ago, I heard a radio interview with a university student who had invented the means to make solar panels for next to nothing, and was seeking backing to teach others how to do it in third world countries.
It’s truly amazing the someone has found a way for people living in poverty to have cheap electricity, when previously it was well beyond their means.
I am in the process of researching that news story, and featuring it here!
That’s the sort of positive news that I am talking about!
Along with good news stories about individuals, I’d like to feature companies that are giving something back as well.

My name is Allan Cockerill

Hi Allan,
This is the type of site I’ve been waiting patiently to see. There are too many reporting resources given over to the purveyors of “doom and gloom” and much of this, in my opinion, results in self-fulfilling prophecies. Things that may not be too bad often become much worse because of the speculations of some “expert”. So let’s have more good news and uplifting news. Count me in as a regular reader.

hey Don, thanks for the vote of confidence!
I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.
You are 100% right! Things may be tough for a lot of people, but then things have never been easy for a lot of others.
Rather than harping about what’s wrong with the world, we need to look at what’s right, and replicate it where we can!
Cheers my friend!

Hi Shelley, and thanks for visiting!
We all know that being positive isn’t just a case of ignoring problems!
They are there, but if work on the positives answers may just come.
Welcome along for the ride!

Hi Alan,
Now, there is a place where we can read and feed the good news. Focusing on the positive is what we need at this stage. I will spread this link, so more good news pours in here.
Congratulations, Dear One. Be Blessed!
